On our website, you have the opportunity to nominate a nice person in your life. Every month, we pick one of the nominees to be our Nice Person of the Month. The winner and the individual who nominated him/her both win a free Choose To Be Nice t-shirt. This blog post highlights our August nominator and nominee.
Mimi’s full-time job may be managing an insurance agency, but part-time she’s a huge supporter of being nice. Here’s what Lindsay had to say about the lovely woman from Plymouth, MA:
"Mimi is a giving, caring woman. She goes out of her way to help people with anything. She supports others even when their obstacles are daunting by creating a plan of attack and then helping to carry out the plan. So many people turn to Mimi for her loving, nurturing, and encouraging personality. She always has a hug, smile, and helping hand to offer. Mimi is an amazing person and it's no surprise that she is loved by everyone she meets."
Lindsay, a kindergarten teacher in Jamaica Plain, MA, explains that both women love the message of Choose To Be Nice. Above all, they agree that being nice is a choice that one can consciously make every day!
As a teacher molding young minds, Choosing To Be Nice is a big part of Lindsay’s kindergarten classroom. And it’s no wonder—Mimi is her mom! So she clearly learned from one of the best when it comes to being nice.
Thanks for your support, ladies!
