Niceness in Full Bloom

Remember our friends at Brookfield Elementary School? If not, this post will remind you how wonderful they are! At the end of March, they launched a Choose To Be Nice program at their school. Principal Valerie Brower explained the many pieces of this program, which included a school song and a fundraiser, as well as family and community involvement.

It gives us great pleasure to share an update with you.  The students have been focusing their efforts on the residential neighborhood in which the school resides.

Principal Brower informed us that the students have begun delivering a plant or two per day to each of the houses on the street. There are over 50 houses in total!

This means over the next several weeks, the classrooms will take turns delivering a small plant & the following laminated note to each of the houses.

They began on May 5 and will be continuing until they have hit everyone on the street!

How awesome are they? How awesome are they?

We couldn't be more proud of the students at Brookfield Elementary School!

Thanks kids for choosing to be nice!
